He is a graduate of Wagner College and is credited with pioneering and evolving the talent-driven programming market in TV and Digital Media platforms over the last 20 years. He is currently the Head of Talent & Series Development at Noble Savages where he oversees casting and development of original programming.
Potestivo has a proven track record of creating and casting compelling content that has had a direct impact on pop culture such as MTV's Total Request Live, Punk'd, The Osbournes, 8th & Ocean, Laguna Beach, The Hills, The Ashlee Simpson Show, The Tom Green Show, House of Style, Fashionably Loud and Wild 'n Out, Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey, The Millionaire Matchmaker, Pregnant In Heels, Chef Roblé & Co., and Newlyweds: The First Year for Bravo as well as E!'s House of DVF, A&E's Breaking Boston, CBS's Dogs In the City and FYI's A Question of Love (a Noble Savages original production). Potestivo is a seasoned talent development executive who is a driving force behind the industry's success in talent-driven programming, having helped launch the careers of many stars such as Mandy Moore, Nick Cannon, Benji & Joel Madden (Good Charlotte), Vanessa Minnillo, Molly Sims, Kelly Osbourne, Tyrese Gibson, Nick Cannon and Ashlee Simpson.
Potestivo launched "VPE: Vinnie Potestivo Entertainment, Inc", a full service modern media agency where he and his team have sold, produced and/or cast thousands of original programming hours for an array of network clients such as CBS, A&E, Lifetime, USA Networks, Bravo, VH1, WEtv, MTV, MTV2, MTV tr3s, VH1, Logo, FYI, E!, TLC, Oxygen, truTV and AMC as well as digital platforms such as macys.com, mlb.com, vevo.com, HooplaHa.com and ulive.com since opening its doors in 2007.
Prior to VPE, Potestivo ran MTV's East Coast Series & Talent Development Department under the direction of its Executive Vice President, Rod Aissa. For nearly a decade Potestivo created and developed original talent-driven programming in addition to discovering and securing talent for programming specials such as the Video Music Awards, Spring Break and New Year's Eve. It was here that he first rubbed shoulders with Mandy Moore, discovered Gideon Yago on the campus of Columbia University and auditioned Beyoncé Knowles for her debut acting role in MTV Films' Carmen: A Hip Hopera.
On February 14, 2015 Vincent S Potestivo became an ordained minister and is a licensed Marriage Officiant in the CIty of New York.
